Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our marketing team, supporting various campaigns and initiatives to promote our brand and drive business growth. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute marketing strategies, manage projects, and ensure timely delivery of marketing materials. Your creativity, organizational skills, and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our marketing efforts and help us achieve our business objectives.

Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and tracking of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional advertising.
  • Support the development of marketing collateral, such as product brochures, presentations, website content, and social media posts, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Manage our digital marketing channels, including website updates, email marketing campaigns, and social media platforms, to engage our target audience and drive traffic and conversions.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities for market expansion or product development.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, trade shows, and promotional activities, coordinating logistics, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring seamless attendee experience.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives, tracking key metrics and providing regular reports and insights to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Secures all possible needs of customers per area served to cover all customer needs when entering the stores.
  • Make sure all possible varieties of all products exist with proper quoted pricing.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining marketing calendars, managing budgets, and organizing marketing materials and assets.
  • Assists Line in the planning phase of the Merchandising activities.
  • Locates suppliers for product range expansions and negotiates deals with suppliers knowing demand and per capita income of areas being served to plan supply chain logistics with suppliers.
  • Agree with supplier on the barcode needed for proper inventory, pricing, control and electronic sale.
  • Processes progress reports to inform line of all activities & all happenings.
  • Submits reports on competition behavior.
  • Submits regular reports on sales activity with analysis and comparisons (YTD or others) with action plans for corrective actions to increase sales or meet expectations.
  • Make sure the company and thereafter the department guidelines are being followed from an ethical and principle view point.
  • Meets with store controller seeking to serve the business in expansion of the product range, in pricing issues, in availability of products then submits report to Line with recommendation.
  • Complying with Health, Safety and Environment regulations and working practices of KDD and the State of Kuwait when carrying out duties.
  • Execute Line Management directives when required.

. Project Management

  • Campaign Coordination: Managing the timeline and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring all tasks are completed on time, and acting as the point of contact for all team members involved.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinating efforts across multiple teams, including marketing, sales, product, and design, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Budget Tracking: Managing and tracking the budget for marketing projects to ensure campaigns stay within financial constraints.

2. Content Creation and Management

  • Content Development: Assisting in the creation of content for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, emails, blogs, and printed materials.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Reviewing and proofreading content to ensure it aligns with the brand voice, is error-free, and is optimized for the target audience.
  • Content Calendar: Developing and maintaining content calendars to ensure timely delivery of marketing messages and campaign consistency across different platforms.

3. Digital Marketing and Social Media

  • Social Media Management: Managing social media accounts, creating and scheduling posts, and engaging with followers to grow the brand’s online presence.
  • Email Marketing: Supporting the creation and distribution of email newsletters, promotional emails, and marketing automation campaigns.
  • Website Updates: Collaborating with web developers or content teams to ensure the company website is updated with the latest marketing materials, promotions, or product information.
  • SEO and SEM: Assisting with search engine optimization (SEO) efforts to improve the website's visibility and assisting with search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns.

4. Market Research and Analysis

  • Market Trends: Conducting market research to gather data on industry trends, competitors, customer preferences, and target demographics.
  • Customer Insights: Analyzing customer behavior through surveys, interviews, or data analytics to improve the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
  • Reporting: Generating reports on campaign performance, web traffic, and engagement metrics, and providing insights for future campaigns.

5. Brand Management

  • Brand Consistency: Ensuring all marketing materials are consistent with the company’s brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Creative Briefs: Collaborating with designers or agencies to develop creative materials (e.g., graphics, videos, print ads) that reflect the brand identity and appeal to the target audience.

6. Event Coordination

  • Event Planning: Organizing and coordinating events such as trade shows, conferences, webinars, or promotional events to boost brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Logistics Management: Managing event logistics, such as venue selection, vendor coordination, and event promotion, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Follow-Up: Ensuring that post-event follow-ups are completed, such as thank-you emails, collecting feedback, and evaluating event success.

7. Advertising and Promotion

  • Advertising Campaigns: Assisting in the creation and execution of advertising campaigns, whether online (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) or offline (TV, radio, print).
  • Promotions: Developing promotional materials such as flyers, banners, and advertisements to support sales initiatives or seasonal campaigns.
  • Paid Media: Supporting paid media strategies by helping manage ad spends, ensuring the ads reach the correct audience, and tracking performance.
