Senior Attorney
Career Consulting Partners is excited to collaborate with a prominent Southern California law firm that has been serving families for over a century. This esteemed firm specializes in a broad spectrum of legal services including business real estate tax law estate planning probate and employment law. Through carefully planned mergers they have expanded their practice to include intellectual property and financial services now proudly employing over 50 attorneys.We are seeking an attorney who can work collaboratively with Partners on assigned matters while supporting and contributing to the growth of our General Civil Litigation practice.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Will provide highquality legal counsel and advice to clients prospects and affiliates.
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda on assigned topics.
- Stay current with legal developments in assigned practice areas such as litigation corporate law real estate and estate planning.
- Supervise and mentor administrative staff and Associate Attorneys.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships through effective communication and marketing efforts.
- Develop strategies and arguments to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Draft review and manage legal documents ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Coordinate with opposing counsel and involved parties to advance case efforts.
- Uphold ethical standards and professional responsibilities.
- Support firm initiatives and embody core values of Integrity Hard Work Excellence and Team.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar.
- 6 9years of experience in general civil litigation with a strong preference for candidates experienced in business real estate or employment law.
- Proven ability to handle cases from inception to resolution including legal research drafting pleadings discovery and trial preparation.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Partners and team members across multiple practice areas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction drafting and courtroom advocacy.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships contributing to the firms business development efforts.
- Highly organized and detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and cases efficiently.
