Role Overview:
We are looking for a Node Backend Developer to join our Interactive team focusing on our Inflight Entertainment Platform. Youll be working with the relevant airline project leaders giving solutions to their business needs and requests solving and preventing production bugs and increasing the internal quality of the product (reducing technical debt increasing performance.).
Your daytoday will look like:
- Design develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend services meeting business needs and requirements using Node.js.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure that software is designed and implemented according to best practices and standards
- Implement and maintain database structures and optimize queries for performance.
- Create technical documentation and implement APIs.
- Enforce strong security practices and ensure protection against vulnerabilities.
- Perform maintenance updates and enhancements in the code.
- Collaborate with other team members such as QA project managers and other developers to ensure the quality of the product and compliance with clients requests
Who Are We Looking For
Hard Skills:
- 4 years of experience with Node.JS
- Excellent communication skills fluent in English and Spanish (oral / written)
- Experience working in a fastpaced environment maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction
- Experience in designing and developing APIs
- Experience in CI/CD database and Git
- Strong development best practices
- Strong attention to documented code tests and continuous integration
- Nice to have knowledge of Javascript React or Angular
Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal leadership and communication skills coupled with business presence adaptability and resilience
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to promptly identify and resolve issues.
- You are organized with high standards of quality and precision in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment

- Travels: This position includes occasional trips
