Job Description
Samy Alliance s Italian subsidiary is seeking a Finance Analyst. Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager and working in coordination with a delivery team of over 30 FTEs the selected candidate will be responsible for managing the financial performance of a business exceeding 20M. Key responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations
Preparation of journal entries.
Bank reconciliations.
Invoice posting.
Expense control.
Direct interaction with accounting and tax advisory firms
OTP Operations
Monitor and control of POs
Support in preparing the payment schedule.
Maintenance of the supplier database
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Compilation of financial information by campaign and margin analysis.
Collaboration in preparing reports for management.
Assistance in reviewing the company s Financial Statements
Administrative Support
Support of different local administrative processes
Besides them and in coordination with the Revenue Operations Specialist s/he will monitor the OTC processes that include:
Issuance of invoices
Followup on collections.
Requirements
- University degree in finance or economics (ACCA CIMA or similar qualifications preferred).
3 years of relevant experience in finance controlling or external audit with a strong understanding of financial operations and controls for Italian businesses.
Excellent accounting knowledge with proven experience with IFRS
Proactive and a solutionoriented mindset.
Exceptional analytical skills and a handson attitude.
Great motivation and focus on delivery
Nice to have:
We will show preference for candidates who have worked in the digital advertising industry and/or in dynamic startups or fastchanging international environments. Previous experience in Big 4 is also valuable.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with diverse cultures.
Languages:
Proficient in Italian and English (required).
Proficiency in Spanish (not mandatory but a significant advantage).
Technical Skills:
Previous experience with Oracle Netsuite is a must.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Gsuite.
Experience using LLM or other AIbased tools is very valuable
Knowledge of Python or any other programming language used for task automation and scripting is also a nice to have
