Job Description
Our Clientrequires setters and operators to set up and operate 3 & 5 Axis CNC milling machining centres. The successful candidates will be trained to set machines and prove out programs to enable the smooth running of production batches.
Essential Criteria:
- A good standard of secondary education with high levels of numeracy and literacy
Desirable Criteria:
- NVQ engineering qualification manufacturing/mechanical/motor vehicle
- o Read and understand technical drawings
- o Good attention to detail.
- o Competency in finishing and inspecting machined parts
- o Experience with CNC machines
- Experience with CAD/CAM
- CNC programming experience
- CNC machining experience setting and machining on milling machines
- Working experience of Heidenhain & Siemens controls
