Full Job DescriptionJob Title: Weekend Carer (OnCall)
Location: Covering postcodes: L11 L12 L13 L14 L24 L25 L26 L27 L28 L32 L33 L34 L35 L36Salary: 125 per day (250 for the weekend)Hours: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM & 4:00 PM 9:00 PM (Rotational basis: One weekend on one weekend off)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Carer to provide essential support to our clients across designated postcodes. This role operates on a rotational basis working alternate weekends. You will be the oncall carer responsible for covering absences and holiday leave during weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide highquality personal care and support to clients in their own homes.
- Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene dressing meal preparation and medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Step in to cover absences and holiday leave as required.
- Follow care plans and ensure the dignity and wellbeing of clients at all times.
- Travel between client homes within the designated postcode areas.
- Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to the care coordinator.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential.
- A compassionate and patient nature with a strong commitment to client care.
- Flexibility to respond to lastminute cover needs.
- Reliable transport and a valid driving license (preferred due to travel requirements).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) which we will source.
