Job Description
Role Overview:
The Planner is crucial to our manufacturing operations ensuring the availability of finished goods in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop annual production plans and identify gaps
- Lead the Sales and Operations Planning process
- Optimize production schedules with the Production Manager
- Maintain optimal levels of Work In Progress (WIP)
- Manage stock movements within the Stock Management System (SMS like SAGE)
- Control new item codes and Bill of Materials (BOM) within SMS
- Provide KPI reports on Conformance to Plan (CtP) machine efficiency and production waste
General Responsibilities:
- Manage reporting systems and continuous improvement programs
- Attend meetings produce reports and perform other duties as required
Person Specification:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing planning role.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Proficiency in Stock Management Systems (like SAGE)
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
