Job Description
- Develop test and implement applications using Cobol and CLP languages on the AS/400 platform
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications
- Maintain and optimize existing applications to ensure their performance reliability and security
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of software solutions and improve development processes
- Resolve technical issues and provide user support ensuring that all problems are promptly and efficiently addressed
- Document processes changes made to applications and technical solutions implemented
- Actively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to identify and implement innovative solutions
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in AS400 platform and projects developments using Cobol/CLP
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases especially DB2 for AS400
- Knowledge of the MQ framework
- Knowledge of the AS400 scheduler
- Knowledge of CQS and Leasing products (nice to have)
- Problemsolving with the ability to handle technical issues.
- You show ability to encourage communication and collaboration between team members in order to meet the objectives ability to integrate in a local team as well as in a remote team
- You have an attention to detail and very good analytical skills
- You speak Italian and English (oral and written) fluently mandatory
