Our client requires the services of a Technology Integrator (Expert) Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation

EXPERIENCE: 8 Years related working experience

COMMENCEMENT: 01 April 2025

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Relevant IT / Business degree
• 8 years experience in relational databases (Oracle and or PostgreSQL)
• 8 years experience in ETL (Oracle and or Informatica and or AWS Glue)
• 8 years BI experience plus 1 or 2 years in the Cloud environment
• Experienced in designing developing and implementing complex solutions with integrations to other technologies and solutions
• Working within an Agile environment
• Working for international/global companies

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Oracle & ETL (Extract Transform and Load)
• Data preparation for the FrontEnd Applications (e.g. SAP BO Webi QlikSense)
• Write SQL PL/SQL (packages stored procedures functions) and use Oracle Scheduler to automate ETL of source data for full and deltaloads to an Oracle persistence layer.
• AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• Quicksight Must have
• Glue ETL data integration
• Elastic Cloud Computing (EC2)
• Aurora PostgreSQL fully managed relational database engine
• Database Administration
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS

• Understanding of other BI Tools
• AWS S3
• AWS Athena

ROLE:

• Managing projects / processes
• Ability to develop within a specific soughtafter programming language and or Cloud services
• Strong working knowledge with software development tools techniques and approaches used to generate and prepare data to be used by the application solutions
• Cloud computing technologies Business drivers and emerging computing trends
• Understanding of integration between different technologies
• Coordination between development and support environments
• Assisting with the business case
• Planning and monitoring
• Eliciting requirements
• Requirements organisation
• Translating and simplifying requirements
• Requirements management and communication
• Requirements analysis
• Document requirements in appropriate format depending on methodology followed
• Assist with identification and management of risks
• Solution testing: unit and end to end in multiple environments
• Document the development and keep existing documents and tools up to date
• Engaging with international/global stakeholders
