Client is seeking to fill a shortterm contractor assignment. The selected candidate will fill the role of Java MidLevel Developer on the DMV Traffic Records Systems (TRS) team
**Requirement is for the candidates remote work location must be in the Raleigh North Carolina area. Currently we require the candidate to be on site rarely perhaps once a month.

Description:
NCDIT Transportation is seeking a short term (approx. 12 month) contractor assignment. The selected candidate will fill the role of Java MidLevel Technical Specialist on the DMV Traffic Records Systems (TRS) to backfill the current team as they develop the eCrash /NCCRIS project. TRS supports the DMV Crash Data Management and DOH Traffic Safety in collecting analysis and distribution of motor vehicle accident information. The chosen candidate will be part of the application maintenance team serving as the technical specialist and consultant by independently managing complex Java projects and providing critical second level 24x7 oncall support.
The contractor will work with Business Owners in the translation of customer requests into technical request and user stories coordinates software release schedules with the Business and Technical Team develops business requirements and provides testing and training support. This individual must have proven experience with enterprise level software development programs.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Information Systems Computer Engineering Math or Engineering or related technical discipline.

Experience with Web Services JSP Servlets Spring Struts Eclipse IDE and version control tools.

Experience with Visual C .NET CORBA EJB and Hibernate.
