Job Description
Job Title: Telemetry Nurse (Registered Nurse RN)
Location: Upland CA
Type of Assignment: Travel Contract
Shift: Day (12 hours)
Duration: 13 weeks (Possibility for extension based on performance)
Pay: Negotiable
We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses with Telemetry experience to join our team. As a Telemetry Nurse you will provide exceptional care to patients who require continuous heart monitoring manage their treatment plans supervise staff and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care for patients with heart conditions or those requiring heart monitoring in units such as Definitive Observation Units (DOU) Progressive Care Units (PCU) Stroke Units or Outpatient Observation Services (OOS).
- Continuously monitor patients and respond promptly to any changes in their condition.
- Supervise and collaborate with a team that includes nurses nursing assistants and other healthcare professionals.
- Manage patient care tasks delegate responsibilities and ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Maintain a patienttonurse ratio of 4:1 to ensure highquality personalized care.
- Stay current with the latest practices in telemetry nursing and complete any necessary training in cardiac care.
- Work in a fastpaced dynamic environment that demands quick decisionmaking and effective communication.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS ACLS Basic Arrhythmia and Basic 12lead EKG certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent RN Telemetry experience preferred.
- Critical Care course required or must be completed within six months of hire.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
