Job Description

Our significant growth and changes have led us to investing further across the business to increase revenue partnerships with our customers and in turn look at different functions within the business. With this comes requirements for a Business Analyst to join our Fueller family on a permanent basis.
The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and success of our operations.
Brief Overview:
Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Remuneration:
Location: Birmingham B2 (Hybrid)
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one data visualisation tool (e.g; Tableau Looker Power BI) is a must have for this role.
- Work with large data sets in a datadriven environment.
- Build and maintain dashboards reports and visualisations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across the business.
- Analyse customer data to uncover insights into behaviour preferences and trends supporting marketing campaigns and product decisions.
- Collaborate with X teams to identify inefficiencies and optimise Y.
- Implement and refine data collection processes ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer critical business questions and support strategic initiatives.
- Work with leadership to establish a datadriven culture providing training and guidance to nontechnical team members
- Managing data governance processes and creating SQL tables to support various reporting needs including credit risk and market analysis as well as insights into customer behaviour growth trends and attrition. Additionally addressing other key business requirements.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Essential:
- Proficiency in SQL with proven experience creating and managing SQL tables.
- Expertise in at least one data visualisation tool such as Tableau Looker or Power BI.
- Demonstrable experience working with large datasets in a datadriven environment.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to build and maintain dashboards reports and visualisations to track KPIs.
- Proven ability to analyse customer data to extract insights into behaviour preferences and trends supporting business decisions.
- Experience in implementing and refining data collection processes ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to conduct ad hoc analyses to address critical business questions and provide strategic insights.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across crossfunctional teams to identify inefficiencies and optimise processes.
- A solid understanding of data governance practices and how to maintain data security and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide training and guidance to nontechnical team members fostering a datadriven culture.
- High attention to detail and problemsolving skills especially when working with complex datasets.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in credit risk or market analysis.
- Knowledge of customer growth and attrition trends and related analytics.
- Experience working in or familiarity with the fleet and fuel industry or a similar dataintensive environment.
- A degree in Data Science Business Analytics Computer Science or a related field.
- Familiarity with Microsoft cloudbased data storage and analysis tools.
- Project management skills or certifications (e.g. Agile Prince2 or similar methodologies).
- Advanced knowledge of statistical techniques or experience with similar tools for data analysis.
