23 months contract with a Local Authority
Job Purpose
- This role will work with the HR Systems & Data Team and key Operational Stakeholders across the Council to conduct a thorough and systematic review of a set of financial data which exist within HR systems taking responsibility for providing advanced analysis and interpretation of HR management information (MI) and historic records extracted from various HR & Council Data sources to quantify liabilities and set out potential mitigation options.
- This role is focused on a single payroll/data analysis related task and will conclude on completion of the project.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Performing analysis of core HR & Payroll data to quantify the scale of liability which exists within the project
- Process HR records and incorporate these into the dataset to understand and evidence how the project liability is mitigated by past actions
- To conduct linebyline review of the dataset to ensure accuracy of data held with a view to minimise the scale of the potential liability
Essential Experience Required
- Experience of Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills with a preference for experience in the use of advanced Excel products (power query macros and VBA) is essential.
- Experience of HR payroll and pensions data is essential.
- Experience of how to analyse and present data effectively is essential.
Essential Qualification Required
- General education qualifications is essential.

- Working hours: 36 hours per week.
- Hybrid working pattern 2 days in office per week

Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or with a relevant professional is essential
