Job Description
On behalf of our client a reputable renewable energy firm we are looking to hire an Energy Portfolio Analyst to their Dublin team.
The Role:
- Analysing and preparing data to support decisions round hedging power through an agreed risk management framework.
- Performing regular analysis on the performance of the portfolio to provide information for key management reports.
- Strong understanding of energy markets and using this knowledge to enhance day to day activities and analysis.
- Support the capacity operational process for the existing portfolio.
Requirements
- At least 5 years relevant experience preferably in the energy industry.
- A primary degree in a relevant numerical/commercial discipline or equivalent work experience
- Strong numerical and analytical background with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient excel skills with the ability to model effectively and analyse potential strategies in the energy market.
