Job Description
As an Interior Designer you will manage the entire interior design process for office fitout projects from concept to execution. This includes creating realistic 3D perspectives walkthroughs mood boards and material boards. You will also stay updated on global office design trends to ensure innovative and functional design solutions.
Job Overview
Shift: Day Shift and Weekends Off
Work Setup: Onsite (Metro Manila)
- Develop innovative office interior designs that integrate global and local design trends.
- Create highly realistic 3D perspectives and walkthroughs using software such as SketchUp 3ds Max Vray Unreal Engine or other industrystandard visualization tools.
- Produce mood boards and material boards for client and stakeholder presentations.
- Provide detailed breakdowns of materials and finishes to ensure clarity during the fitout phase.
Budgeting & Procurement
- Lead the preparation of detailed project budgets ensuring designs align with financial constraints.
- Negotiate with vendors for the procurement of furniture fixtures and equipment (FF&E) securing the best price while maintaining quality.
- Manage procurement from both local and international suppliers adhering to budget and project specifications.
Project Leadership & Standardization
- Collaborate with architects engineers and project managers to align design and construction processes.
- Lead the creation and implementation of the Emapta Design Standard ensuring consistency across all office fitout projects.
- Develop and document design policies and procedures for team improvement and consistency.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Attend weekly crossfunctional meetings with stakeholders to provide relevant project updates including challenges and mitigation plans.
- Present design concepts 3D renderings and material selections to clients and senior leadership for approval.
- Work with project managers contractors and suppliers to ensure timelines budgets and quality are maintained.
Site Visits & Quality Control
- Conduct regular site visits during all phases of construction to ensure design intent is followed and resolve any onsite challenges.
- Review and approve material samples shop drawings and FF&E installations to ensure quality and alignment with the design.
- Ensure office fitouts comply with company design standards and lessor guidelines.
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
- Bachelor s degree in Interior Design Architecture or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design focusing on office fitouts or commercial spaces.
- Expertise in creating realistic 3D perspectives and walkthroughs using software such as SketchUp 3ds Max Vray Unreal Engine or similar tools.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting detailed technical plans.
- Proven ability to procure furniture fixtures and equipment (FF&E) from both local and international markets.
