Job Description
**Please Note:
- Daily Working Hours: 8hour days with start time at or after 7:30 a.m. May have to work off hours in emergency situations.
- Engagement Length: 30 Months
- 100% Onsite requirement
About the Position
- This position serves as an OBIEE 12c/OAS development and support staff for our Client.
- This position also supports R&D efforts development of new OBIEE 12c/OAS executive dashboards analytics BI Publisher and Java Services.
- Job Title Makes highlevel design choices and dictates technical standards including software coding standards tools and platforms.
- Designs multileveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system.
- Position Skill Level Description: 60 84 months: Candidate is able to work independently without assistance and provides guidance to others.
- May have an advanced education.
- Candidates are required to attend mandatory workplace training. Examples of currently included courses are: Security AwarenessPreventing Sexual Harassment Preventing Workplace Violence etc.
Daily Tasks will include but not limited to the following:
- Participate in a team approach to:
- Analyze and develop OBIEE 12c/OAS technical solutions. Complete requirements analysis capture and document the customer s business and technical needs
- Research and recommend technology to improve the current OBIEE systems
- Contribute to the design and implementation of the metadata and/or reporting components of the solution (building and/or modifying OBIEE 12c/OAS
- Repositories(RPD)) including testing and deployment of the components
- Building a business and presentation layer within OBIEE 12c/OAS to meet the business requirements of the project.
- Create reports and graph dashboards using OBIEE 12c/OAS BI Publisher as necessary to meet the business requirements of the project.
- Perform unit testing on all code changes
Requirements
Basic Qualifications and Requirements:
- Skill Level : Senior
- 60 Months Experience OBIEE 12c/OAS catalog development MUDE repository development.
- 60 Months Experience with Oracle 10/11G/12C databases Oracle Data Warehouse Data Marts and Complex SQL Query coding.
- 48 Months Experience with configuring OBIEE Weblogic Server
- 48 Months Experience in BI Publisher integrated development with OBIEE Dashboard.
- 36 Months Development experience in HTML JavaScript CSS coding using JavaScript frameworks.
- 60 Months Experience with System & Data Analysis Application Design & Dimensional and Data Modeling with Design and Documentation
- 60 Months Experience Implementing application roles from a database table and applying the user roles in dashboard.
- 60 Months Experience working with PL/SQL SQL Query Performance tuning.
- Skills required:
- (Software): OBIEE 12c/OAS Suite; Weblogic 12c Java Web Services; Oracle; PL/SQL SQL LinuxOracle
- (Hardware): Linux/Oracle
