Job Description
- Employment Type: Fulltime permanent
- Shifts: Variable Day Shifts with some weekends as needed
- Travel: Travel to local schools for games and events
- Athletic Screenings & Injury Management: Conducts screenings at schools hospitals and outpatient facilities; provides injury assessments and makes recommendations to athletes coaches parents and physicians
- Collaboration & Training: Works with the rehabilitation team (physicians PTs OTs) to develop training guidelines and modifications for athletes and coaches
- Game Coverage & Rehabilitation: Provides onsite coverage during athletic events and assists with rehabilitation under the supervision of licensed therapists
- Graduate of an accredited program for athletic trainers
- Licensure in Illinois or eligibility for licensure is required
- Certification by the National Athletic Trainers Association is required
- Clinic and field experience is preferred
- Current CPR and progress toward ACLS certification
- telemetry training preferred
