FAST Workflow Configuration Consultant

Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior FAST Configuration Analyst and Developer to join our team. This role will focus on implementing technical requirements through the configuration of the FAST Policy Administration System (PAS). The ideal candidate will bring practical knowledge of agile development methodologies engineering best practices and handson experience with FAST PAS configuration. You will collaborate with system vendors client subject matter experts and solution architects to deliver customized solutions that bring value to our clients in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. FAST PAS Configuration:
   

   • Implement and enhance the FAST PAS to meet client requirements through handson configuration using FAST Composer.
     

   • Customize the FAST PAS including product setup rule configuration and workflow design to align with client specifications.
     

2. Best Practices and Standards:
   

   • Adhere to and improve standards and best practices for FAST configuration.
     

   • Ensure efficient and effective business processes data integrity and consistency across implementations.
     

3. Testing and Troubleshooting:
   

   • Conduct system testing to validate configurations and ensure expected functionality.
     

   • Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during configuration or testing phases.
     

4. Documentation:
   

   • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations processes and procedures.
     

   • Provide clear communications on status risks issues and timelines for implementation.
     

5. Collaboration and Leadership:
   

   • Lead and participate in design and configuration reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
     

   • Work with solution architects to implement configuration changes that support technical requirements and business goals.
     

   • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and recommend solution options while considering tradeoffs between tactical and strategic goals.
     

6. Client Value Delivery:
   

   • Provide insights into processes risks and service goals offering solution recommendations that bring value to clients.
     

   • Support clients by enhancing the FAST PAS and ensuring configurations meet their evolving needs.
     

Qualifications:

• Experience: 35 years of proven experience configuring and managing the FAST platform using FAST Composer.
  

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in FAST system configuration and implementation including product setup rules engine and workflow design.
  

• Collaboration: Strong ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams on solutions integrations and coordination.
  

• Knowledge: Indepth knowledge of FAST development and deployment within the insurance ecosystem.
  

• Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
  

• ProblemSolving: Excellence in problemsolving with the ability to understand the big picture while focusing on details.
  

• Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  

• Adaptability: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of agile development methodologies and modern software engineering practices.
