Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute phenotyping activities to secure highquality trial data collection and storage.
- Conduct data analysis to support datadriven decisions in earlystage breeding (PLC04).
- Collaborate with breeders biological operations and molecular marker labs to support breeding plans.
- Manage biological entities data and records using Syngentas approved informatic systems (SPIRIT MINT).
Core Functions:
- Organize trial data collection management storage and analysis for earlystage breeding.
- Collaborate with biological operations for timely planning and crop management.
- Conduct prototype trials including prescreening data collection and reporting.
- Manage seed production inventory and logistics.
- Coordinate markerassisted selection activities.
- Provide technical data for product management and stage advancement.
- Implement new technologies to support breeding programs.
- Maintain relationships with external cooperators.
Qualifications :
- BSc required MSc preferred in genetics or plant breeding.
- Strong knowledge of plant biology genetics and breeding principles.
- Advanced skills in trial design data management data analysis and statistics.
- Basic understanding of plant pathology and plant health.
- Experience managing and analyzing large datasets.
- Proficiency in database management and R&D software systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Strong planning and basic project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in field and greenhouse environments.
