Job Description

As a Care Professional with Home Instead Windsor Runnymede and West Spelthorne you will be responsible for the ongoing support of your regular clients ensuring that we are delivering highquality care in our clients homes and living up to our mission to improve the lives of those giving and receiving care.

Your time with your clients will include:

  • Companionship we always make time for a chat over a cuppa.
  • Help our clients around the house like washing up laundry and preparing simple meals encouraging to do together.
  • Support with Personal Care like getting washed and dressed for the morning.
  • Social Calls appointments clubs & hobbies
  • Shopping trips and light gardening
  • Prompting & assisting your client with their medication.

We are offering:

  • Salaried contracts Great rates of pay from 22k prorata.

  • Typical shift patterns You are generally a morning or an evening person so you can choose for example first thing to midafternoon or an evening i.e. 5pm 10pm. We ask you to commit to undertaking 4 weekday shifts & every other weekend.

  • Opportunity for overtime: Overnights (110 per night). Just one overnight visit per week an additional 5000 annually! Two nights a week Thats an additional 10500 annually. Also extra weekends 8am 2pm 110 per weekend/ 5pm 10pm 132 per weekend.

  • Choose preferred shift times morning afternoon afternoon to evening and weekend only.
  • 20 days paid holiday plus 8 paid bank holidays (prorata).
  • Travel paid at 30p per mile adjusted inline with inflation plus local clients to minimise travel / option to cycle to clients. 
  • Award winning accredited training as standard time and qualification paid for by Home Instead.
  • DBS (police check) organised and paid for.
  • Free PPE 
  • Minimum of 1hour visits to clients and no uniform as we believe its more friendly that way
  • Regular support visits team meetings and client Whats App groups.
  • Plus the fun stuff lots of little treats for special occasions and team socials; coffee mornings evening socials and a variety of activities.
  • A pension scheme is offered to employees who are eligible.

Qualifications :

What we ask for from our Care Professionals

  • Live locally.
  • A full driving licence and have full use of a car.
  • Highly reliable and ability to commit to regular contracted hours every week including every other weekend.
  • The right to work in the UK.  DBS will be applied for or by us.
  • A warm heart and caring nature.
  • Professional or personal experience giving or receiving care valued.
