We’re looking for a detail-oriented Shift Maintenance Planner to oversee short-term, line, and AOG maintenance scheduling. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our fleet is maintained to the highest safety and compliance standards, while optimizing operational efficiency.
In this role, you’ll create and manage maintenance schedules, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure all resources are in place to keep operations running smoothly. If you’re passionate about aviation and thrive in solving complex logistical challenges, this role is for you.
Maintenance Scheduling and Planning
Develop Maintenance Plans: Create detailed maintenance schedules for routine inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment overhauls. Ensure these plans align with production schedules to minimize downtime.
Resource Coordination: Coordinate the availability of necessary resources such as labor, tools, spare parts, and equipment to carry out maintenance tasks.
Work Orders Management: Generate and prioritize work orders based on the urgency and importance of maintenance tasks. Ensure that work orders are completed on time and within budget.
Preventive Maintenance: Establish and track preventive maintenance schedules for equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of machinery.
Inventory and Spare Parts Management
Inventory Control: Manage and track the inventory of spare parts and materials needed for maintenance activities. Ensure that critical parts are readily available to avoid delays in repairs.
Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with procurement teams to order and restock spare parts or materials as required.
Stock Monitoring: Keep track of stock levels to avoid understocking or overstocking and ensure the efficient use of materials.
Workforce and Contractor Management
Team Coordination: Organize and assign tasks to maintenance personnel, ensuring that they have the necessary skills, tools, and resources to complete tasks effectively.
Outsourcing and Contractors: Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized maintenance services or repairs that cannot be performed in-house.
Shift Management: Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules to ensure that maintenance teams are available when needed, especially for critical equipment.
With 3+ years of experience in aviation maintenance or planning, and proficiency in AMOS software, you’re a seasoned professional who knows how to balance technical expertise with strong interpersonal skills.
A high school diploma or equivalent in Aviation, Engineering, or Production is required. Fluency in English will help you succeed in this role.

Cost Management and Budgeting
Cost Control: Monitor maintenance budgets and costs, identifying opportunities to reduce expenses through more efficient planning and resource utilization.
Budgeting: Assist in creating and managing budgets for maintenance activities, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and that the maintenance department operates within budget constraints.
Cost Estimation: Estimate costs for repair or replacement of equipment, and prepare cost reports for management to review.

Safety Standards: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and ensuring that maintenance teams follow best practices.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance work meets legal, environmental, and health standards, and maintain records for inspections, repairs, and compliance.
Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments on equipment and maintenance tasks, identifying potential hazards and implementing appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
