In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our Boeing 787 fleet. Success in this role demands a strong technical background, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance with GACA Regulations.
This hands-on role entails conducting regular inspections and scheduled maintenance on aircraft components, systems, and structures. Further, you will perform routine checks, repairs and replacements of faulty parts and systems.

Inspection and Maintenance
Routine Inspections: Perform routine, preventive maintenance inspections on aircraft, including pre-flight, post-flight, and scheduled checks (e.g., A, B, C, and D checks).
Engine and Airframe Maintenance: Inspect and maintain critical aircraft systems such as engines, wings, landing gear, control surfaces, avionics, and electrical systems to ensure functionality.
Component Testing: Test and calibrate mechanical, electrical, and avionics components, making sure they meet operational and safety standards.
Lubrication and Cleaning: Perform regular lubrication and cleaning of aircraft parts to ensure smooth operation and to extend the lifespan of components.
. Repairs and Troubleshooting
System Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and identify faults in aircraft systems, such as engines, flight controls, electrical systems, and avionics, using specialized diagnostic equipment and tools.
Aircraft Repairs: Carry out repairs on faulty systems and parts, which could involve replacing damaged components, performing structural repairs, or fixing electrical or mechanical malfunctions.
Aircraft Modifications: Implement necessary modifications and upgrades to aircraft, based on manufacturer guidelines or regulatory requirements.
A minimum Diploma qualification, you will possess at least 2 years in Line Maintenance on Boeing 787. GACA / FAA / EASA or other CAA Aircraft Maintenance License is mandatory.
You are also required to hold the appropriate police security clearance required for the role.

Safety and Compliance
Adherence to Regulations: Ensure all maintenance work complies with aviation safety standards, regulations, and procedures set by aviation authorities like the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) or EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency).
Maintenance Records: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities performed on each aircraft.
Safety Procedures: Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during maintenance work. This includes wearing appropriate protective gear, ensuring proper handling of hazardous materials, and using tools and equipment safely.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintenance Logs: Record all work performed in the aircraft's maintenance logbook, ensuring accurate, up-to-date records for compliance and auditing purposes.
Issue Reporting: Report any safety hazards, technical issues, or unusual findings to the supervisor or relevant authorities for further action.
Certification of Work: Sign off on the completed maintenance work and ensure it meets the required standards, certifying that the aircraft is ready for flight.
