Roles and responsibilities

to spearhead content development and marketing efforts across multiple B2B and B2C platforms and channels. Central to this role is the development, implementation, and optimisation of content strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.

Success in this role will see you collaborate with cross functional stakeholders (Brand, PR/Comms, Corporate Comms, Digital, Shared Services, Guest Experience and Loyalty) to gather insights and create content that communicates key priorities while reflecting the brand's values.

1. Content Strategy Development
Develop and execute the overall content strategy for the brand across digital channels (website, social media, email campaigns, blogs, etc.).
Align content strategy with the company’s marketing objectives, target audience, and brand voice.
Analyze industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to inform content creation.
2. Content Creation and Curation
Lead the creation of high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, videos, infographics, and social media posts.
Manage content calendars to ensure timely production and publication of content across multiple channels.
Curate relevant content from external sources that can be shared on the company’s platforms to engage the audience and support brand positioning.
3. SEO and Optimization
Optimize content for search engines (SEO) by researching keywords, implementing SEO best practices, and analyzing content performance.
Use data insights to continuously improve content for higher engagement and conversion rates.
Collaborate with SEO specialists to ensure that all content is optimized for organic search and aligned with the latest SEO trends.


Desired candidate profile

Degree-qualified, you will demonstrate at least 8 sounds years of experience in content marketing.

Strong Writing and Editing: Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce compelling, clear, and engaging content.
SEO Knowledge: Understanding of search engine optimization techniques and best practices to drive organic traffic.
Creative Thinking: Ability to generate new and innovative ideas for content that will resonate with the target audience.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and insights from analytics tools to improve content strategy and performance.
Visual Content Understanding: Basic knowledge of visual content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) or the ability to work with designers.
Social Media Expertise: In-depth understanding of various social media platforms and their best practices for content distribution and engagement.
