• Maintaining expert knowledge in regulatory and compliance areas with high level of commitment to build a culture of regulatory compliance with a goal of continual improvement.
• Reviewing new major contracts or internal business proposals which may need compliance point of view.
• Improving compliance awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company.
• Conducting policy and compliance audits, which include liaising with internal and external auditors.
• Responsible to ensure a robust, highly effective Quality / Compliance programs and systems.
• Carry out and oversee detailed info gathering, process mapping, analysis and other activities with objective to identify and assess compliance risks.
• Draft or take part in drafting internal policies and procedures.
• Day to day coordination of compliance activities and following up on compliance issues that require investigation.
• Perform research into various compliance topics, including for example new and existing regulations, best practices and assess implications on the company.
• Provide practical support with development and execution of internal trainings and communication.
• Carry out and oversee process of testing design and operating effectiveness of internal controls.
• Provide support with response to incidents by carrying out and executing activities related to internal reviews.
• Take part in company-wide initiatives where compliance related skillset can be utilized.
• Involve in developing risk management strategies.
• Reporting on compliance
• Dealing and being the point of contact for the regulators.
• Conducting regular GAP analysis on new and updated controls and best practices in the industry.
Develop and operate effective compliance program activities.

Internal: All Function Heads, and all other Business Departments at SATORP Organization.
External: Third-party Auditors, Royal Commission, Shareholders, Peers in industry, Governmental bodies, and any other applicable agencies & external consultants.

Education Background:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Business law, Finance, or a related field (master’s or relevant certifications such as CRCM, CCEP, or similar preferred).
Experience:
More than five (5) years of experience in Refineries or Petrochemicals, with at least four (4) years in the field of Compliance or Internal Controls and Risk Management.
