Periodontist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Periodontist to join our dental practice in Brentwood United Kingdom. As a vital member of our team you will provide specialised periodontal care to our patients focusing on the prevention diagnosis and treatment of gum diseases.

• Conduct comprehensive periodontal examinations and develop tailored treatment plans
• Perform a wide range of periodontal procedures including scaling and root planing periodontal surgery and dental implant placement
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of periodontal health
• Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in periodontal treatments and technologies
• Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment fostering excellent team dynamics
• Participate in practice development initiatives and patient education programmes

Qualifications :

• Specialist qualification in Periodontology or extensive experience as a dentist with a special interest in Periodontics
• Valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
• Proven experience in delivering highquality periodontal treatments
• Indepth knowledge of preventative dental health and gum disease management
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures to patients in a clear and empathetic manner
• Commitment to continuing professional development and staying current with the latest periodontal techniques
• Ability to work effectively with dental nurses and other members of the dental team
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care
• Proficiency in using dental practice management software and digital imaging technologies
