Job Description
Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a Research Assistant to work in Porterville CA.
Research Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Review and be familiar with study protocol requirements.
- Site characterization sampling and shipping
- Facility upkeep: organization cleaning supplies inventory control.
- Train research technicians.
- Recognize situations when Good Laboratory Practices Standard Operating Procedures or protocol requirements may not be able to be met and immediately communicate those situations to supervisory staff.
- Document trial activities in appropriate study or facility logbooks.
- Prepare and review raw data packages for submission to the Quality Assurance Unit for audit at trial completion.
- Assist with written report summaries.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Strong computer scientific and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team selfmotivation adaptability and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques perform multiple tasks simultaneously keep accurate records follow instructions and comply with company policies
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma
- College course work preferred
- One or more years of vocational office experience preferred
Additional Information :
Position is fulltime MondayFriday 8 a.m.5 p.m. with overtime required as needed. Salary range is $1718 an hour. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Porterville CA are encouraged to apply.
