Or how about an offshore project such as currently the worlds largest floating wind farm Kincardine in the UK

Your responsibilities as 2nd Mate DPO

• Ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel on deck duty during the watch. Understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant companys  guidelines and procedures.
• Manually control the vessel manouver the vessel in port and where ever necessary navigate the vessel under all circumstances.
• Competence for navigational watches is in accordance with the requirements of the STCW Code.
• Cooperate with all bridge operations and participate in all operations on board.
• Knowledge in the setup and use of all Bridge equipment DP system and related components reference systems communication systems navigation equipment and production control system.

Your qualities and experience

You can move ahead as 2nd Mate DPO if you have:

• A citizenship of Lithuania Latvia Estonia.
• At least 1 years relevant work experience as 2nd Mate DPO.
• DP certificate issued by the NI NMD or an accredited equivalent.
• Valid STCW documents.
• Valid seafarers medical certificate.
• A good command of written and spoken English.

• Your team: you will work in various teams around the world.
• Full/parttime job:  The function of 2nd Mate DPO is full time job. Working schedule is 4 weeks on/off for the projects in Europe and 6 weeks on/off for the projects outside of Europe.
