Job Description
This is a role for a highly developed Field Service Engineer with broad experience across one or more products in nonintrusive detection field. Team orientated youll have advanced electromechanical product training including technical and operator training. As a good communicator youll be comfortable giving operator level training to end users.
The daytoday
With crosstraining on all our products youll be servicing them at customer sites across the UK. That includes working on some special highvisibility projects. Youll be resolving issues troubleshooting installing servicing and repairing equipment. On some projects you may be supervising colleagues. When not in the field youll be proving technical assistance and liaising with customers.
Youll also be expected to:
- Meet daily service repair needs and drive customer satisfaction
- Document all inspections maintenance and repair work and review logs for open issues
- Participates in Service sales opportunities and assists with promoting and implementing revenue programs
- Ensures that tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated
- Assesses product and equipment performance and recommend modifications or improvements
Youll be working with customers and colleagues across different departments including management technical resources and sales and marketing. This is a role that requires some travel and may also require the ability to work outside of normal business hours.
Qualifications :
Youll need
You should have an Associate degree ONC HNC or equivalent experience along with the aptitude to learn specialized software programs. Your experience should ideally include working with mechanical and airconditioning systems troubleshooting field repair or technical support activities centered on electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
