Job Description

We are looking for a detailoriented and analytical Production Technician II to join our team in Kirkland Canada. In this role you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing on electronic products and components to ensure they meet our high quality standards before being shipped to customers.

  • Perform complex electrical and functional tests on various electronic products and components.
  • Analyze test results and identify potential problems or defects in the production process.
  • Troubleshoot and effectively resolve technical issues in order to maintain production flow.
  • calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Develop and update test procedures and documentation as required.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve product quality and manufacturing processes
  • Prepare detailed reports on test results and quality measures.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and quality control procedures.

Qualifications :

  • Graduate degree in electronics engineering technology or a related field.
  • 24 years of experience in production testing or related field
  • Proficiency in the use of electronic test equipment and the interpretation of results.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and specialized trial software
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Knowledge of electronic components and systems
  • Understanding the principles of lean manufacturing
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. IPC Six Sigma) preferred
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet production schedules.
