Job Description
Primary Function of Position

Under general supervision follows oral and/or written instructions in performance of a wide variety of skilled technical maintenance repair and testing on complex digital and analog electronic components electrical and electromechanical components cable assemblies subassemblies assemblies field replaceable units (FRU) and systems to support a wide variety of Robotic Systems. Regularly use of diagnostic software for localizing equipment and system problems specialized testing equipment analyzers digital oscilloscopes digital multimeters clocks timers calipers voltmeters power supplies rulers and other test equipment as required.
Essential Job Duties
- Perform failure analysis repair testing and/or packaging per applicable work instructions and experience
- Updates RMA information in SAP such as complaint root cause complaint codes pm findings and repairs needed
- Maintains work order information such as the BOM operations completed tools used for repair material used for repair and test results
- Analyzes wiring diagrams schematics assembly drawings and fab drawings to conduct repairs and testing of FRUs
- Provide detailed symptom descriptions for Failures uncovered during repair functional test and calibration to assist in component level troubleshooting
- Conducts quality inspections of own or others work to ensure workmanship standards are met
- Complete all required documentation per GDP guidelines
- Reports quality issues and provides details necessary to create quality notifications (VR PL NCs) records transaction in SAP as needed to preserve traceability
- Maintains neat and orderly work area in compliance with 6S standards
- Follows all safety procedures and protocols
Qualifications :
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 24 years related experience or degree in a STEM field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read write and understand English
- Ability to interpret written instructions
- Ability to do basic math
- Ability to apply logical understanding to carry out instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical internal customers
- Proficient use of computer and associated programs
- Acute attention to detail
- Excellent hand eye coordination
- Ability to handle small parts and tools
- Ability to work varying shifts
- Ability to work in a team environment
Required Education and Training
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training; and/or on the job training
Working Conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Able to use office and test equipment in a typical office/light manufacturing environment.
- Repetitive motion. Substantial continual motion.
- Excellent handeye coordination.
- Vision abilities required include close distance color depth and ability to adjust focus
- Typical production & repairs environment.
- General knowledge of clean and organized work areas and practices.
- High urgency and stress associated with customer deadlines.
- Some risk of exposure to electrical shock and commonly used chemical compounds such as epoxy denatured alcohol and acetone.
- Willing and able to work extended hours when necessary.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Associates or Bachelors degree in a STEM field
- Proficiency with SAP or equivalent
- Proficient with Agile or equivalent
- Previous experience executing SQL queries
- Previous experience in a regulated industry
