The Job Mission: Data Analyst
As a Data Analyst you will play a pivotal role in supporting and improving data management processes for the Hinkley Point C (HPC) project. Working closely with various project service teams technical directorates and interface correspondents across multiple organizations you will oversee the administration of engineering data tools improve data quality and provide analytical insights to drive project efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Tool Administration and Management:
- Administer and manage Mantis tools (OPM UKDC UKICM) including creating evolving and deactivating user accounts and roles.
- Coordinate develop and implement minor tool adaptations including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Analyse user development requests specify requirements implement solutions test new functionalities and support their production.
Data Quality and Analysis:
- Continuously improve data quality within project databases by managing and implementing correction routines.
- Perform mass data treatments including data extraction posttreatment and injection processes.
- Conduct data analysis using Excel and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using Excel and Power BI.
User Support and Communication:
- Act as the main point of contact for user support including managing the generic admin mailbox and resolving queries.
- Collaborate with project engineering teams and communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth data tool operations.
CrossTeam Collaboration:
- Work with internal teams including the Sequence team PMO team and external stakeholders (Edvance NNB Framatome and more) to align tool capabilities with project needs.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across multiple entities within the project.
Qualifications :
Essential:
- Degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- At least 3 years of experience in engineering or data management.
- Extensive experience with data analysis and programming using Excel or other database tools.
- Proven ability to work autonomously solve problems and make decisions within delegated authority.
- Strong project and delivery management skills.
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of the French language.
- Experience in nuclear new build EPR or PWR projects.
- Previous involvement in transverse technical coordination roles.
