The Data Center IT Asset Management Team is part of Visas Data Center Engineering and Operationsorganization. Accurate and timely IT Asset Management (ITAM) enables key corporate priorities by controlling costs enhancing operational efficiency ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating security & financial risks. ITAM objectives include: tracking and managing IT assets (hardware) throughout their life cycle ensuring logical and consistent operational processes are defined and standard systems are implemented to acquire and maintain IT assets ensuring accurate and complete asset information is available to supply financial reporting enhance business decisionmaking improve timetomarket manage assetrelated liabilities and risks improve customer service and responsiveness establishing a foundation for services including Information Security Configuration Management Inventory Management Release Incident Change and Problem Management Service Costing Compliance Management Budgeting and Forecasting.
Essential Functions:
Primary responsibilities will revolve around supporting the Hardware Asset Management function by performing physical inventory of IT assets in Visas data centers tracking and managing IT assets through their lifecycle (receiving deployment change maintenance and disposal) to keep the inventory system of record uptodate while protecting the corporations assets. The position also includes basic research & followup on IT assets communication with Visa groups and collaboration with other members of the Hardware Asset Management Team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience with asset identification acceptance/receiving asset lifecycle inventory management and reporting and management of services/assets.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage the hardware lifecycle management process from purchasing/receiving to disposal
Conduct physical inventories of IT assets in Visa data centers
Perform searches for equipment not found during inventory
Compile sort and verify the accuracy of inventory data
Conduct research and data analysis of hardware assets
Reconcile and resolve asset data discrepancies by liaising with appropriate stakeholders
Update and maintain information in the asset repository in a timely manner
Improve the quality of hardware data in the IT asset repository
Coordinate disposal pickups and completion of associated processes and records
Record review and track asset maintenance support information
Collaborate with Hardware Asset Management peers and key Data Center partners
This is an onsite position. An onsite position must be consistently performed at an assigned Visa office location and require daily commute to the office location.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree OR 3 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
2 or more years of work experience
Proficiency with Excel
Selfstarter dependable/reliable work independently or in a team environment
Detailoriented proactive and highly organizedwhile prioritizing work and multitasking
Some experience with Hardware Asset Management in a Datacenter environment
2 years experience working with IT hardware preferred
Robust written and verbal communication skills
Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables Macros Charts Functions etc.)
Automate modify optimize reports and implement builtin formulas in MS Excel
Technical background and understanding of key infrastructure products including but not limited to server network security devices storage etc. preferred
Additional Information :
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 70600.00 to 99700.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
