Mortgage & Protection Adviser
Chelsmford Essex
£30000 £35000 base salary (depending on experience)
£60000 OTE
Full time Monday to Saturday with a set day off during the week.
Due to the continued growth of our direct solutions division we now have a fantastic opportunity for CeMAP qualified Mortgage & Protection Advisers to join our existing team. Our mortgage brand are the largest independent mortgage brokers in Essex providing independent mortgage and protection advice. As part of the group we work closely with a number of estate agents and other introducers such as builders accountants and solicitors offering independent mortgage and protection advice. As a large introducer we benefit from a number of exclusive mortgage rates not available to the general public.
Salary & Benefits

Duties will include:
- Collaborating closely with your clients to qualify and provide the most appropriate solutions for their mortgaging requirements additionally you will also provide guidance on a variety of protection products.
- As an independent mortgage broker you will have an ability to build your book up over time developing long standing relationships with your clients and supporting them through any future remortgaging needs.
- Prompt management and ownership of the direct web lead enquiries / social media contacts which has been a growing part of the business.
- Holding appointments with your clients via a combination of telephone calls and video conference.
- Hosting webinars with prospective clients and providing market insights as such you must be confident with technology and public speaking.
- Overseeing the LinkedIn account in conjunction with our Marketing Department
Essential Requirements:
- CeMap qualified is an essential prerequisite.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal with an ability to build rapport and understand your clients needs.
- The ability to manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail
