Job Description

Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for creating safe supportive and inspiring environments for children Were looking for a Responsible Individual to oversee our portfolio of Residential childrens homes in Kent ensuring they meet the highest standards of care and compliance. Tasks

What Youll Be Doing:

As a Responsible Individual youll play a key role in shaping the future of our homes ensuring they are places where children can flourish. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Oversight of Operations: Ensuring all homes operate smoothly safely and in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Driving Excellence: Our Responsible Individuals support managers to achieve and maintain Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.
  • Compliance & Safeguarding: Making sure all practices align with legislation safeguarding policies and company standards.
  • Leadership & Mentoring: Guiding and supporting managers and staff to deliver the best outcomes for children and young people.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborating with senior management to set goals and continuously improve service delivery.

Requirements

What Were Looking For:

Were after a Responsible Individual who has:

  • Experience: A proven track record in leadership roles within childrens residential care.
  • Knowledge: An indepth understanding of Ofsted regulations and the Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
  • Qualifications: A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Leadership Skills: The ability to inspire mentor and build highperforming teams.
  • Commitment: We are looking for a Responsible Individual who can provide dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel across Kent to support multiple homes.
