Here at BARFERs we want to build the ecommerce organization of the future where data drives all our decisionmaking. To drive this vision you will design processes define KPIs build dashboards and design predictive models to inform business and product decisions. In this role you drive data solutions at scale by being the primary partner to our Commercial Marketing and IT Teams.
Using your technical skills business acumen and creativity you will build automated data solutions that provide tactical and strategic insights. As a Business Intelligence Analyst you will combine technology and innovation to organize data enable insights and create the worlds most datadriven and efficient organization. You will lead complex multidisciplinary projects using your analytics visualization and data warehousing expertise manage project schedules identifying risks and communicating them with clarity to project stakeholders. Youre equally versed at explaining your teams analyses to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Aufgaben
- Partner closely with the Marketing and Commercial teams understand their data needs and address those with intelligent data solutions in a timely scalable and sustainable fashion.
- Partner with our Data Engineering and Technical BI teams to enhance data infrastructure data availability and broad access to commercial and financial insights made available through selfservice Power BI/Looker dashboards.
- Solve complex business problems through understandable statistical solutions enabling the business to make better decisions and complete their responsibilities more efficiently.
- Work closely with each department head to conduct business and financial analysis including pricing forecasting and monitoring of key business activity.
- Identify data points and proactively develop new metrics and analysis.
- Implement Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling algorithms to support automated forecasting.
Qualifikation
- Ecommerce experience is a must.
- Experience working in a highpaced environment.
- Open entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build trust and partnerships easily.
- You like to work in ambiguous environments and are not afraid to try and learn.
- You are a selfstarter that takes ownership: You always help no matter your job description.
- You are handson and always keep the longterm goals as a priority.
- You have a degree in Computer Science Statistics Finance and/or other quantitative fields.
- 3 years of experience in Analytics or Business Intelligence performing quantitative analysis in a commercial context.
- Youre skilled at querying and building databases (SQL Big Query) and have proven experience building data visualizations with e.g.: Power BI Power Pivot or Looker.
- You have gained first experience with Python or other relevant scripting languages.
- You can explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide audience including senior executives and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are preferred.
