About the RoleAs a Maintenance Electrician youll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly. Reporting to the Plant Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Swiftly responding to plant breakdowns efficiently repairing equipment and minimising downtime.
- Driving continuous improvement in plant performance with a focus on safety maintenance and reliability.
- Maintaining and adhering to policies procedures and safety standards while carrying out electrical and control engineering maintenance.
Our ideal candidate is selfmotivated enthusiastic and thrives in an industrial or factory environment. Key requirements include:
- Level 3 Apprenticetrained Electrician and ONC/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering.
- 17th Edition BS7671 I.E.E Regulations (18th Edition preferred).
- Testing & Inspection qualification (preferred).
- Knowledge of PLC systems AC Drives and Motors and industrial lowvoltage power systems.
- Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) preplanned maintenance and Root Cause Analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems plus the ability to design and implement simple electrical systems.
