Position Title: Production workers

Pay: $17.00/hr on W2
Duration: 3 Months
Shift: Flexibility to work any shift including holidays

Job Description:
Essential Functions:
- Review production schedules to ensure correct equipment setups and availability of necessary materials for efficient productivity.
- Perform product manufacturing tasks on assembly lines.
- Operate machinery and equipment efficiently to meet throughput and product quality standards.
- Ensure proper processing of products and correct insertion into machinery.
- Adhere to established standard operating procedures.
- Conduct and verify quality checks including weight product description content and labeling accuracy.
- Follow all safety guidelines and practices assisting in the enforcement of safety measures when necessary.
- Train new hires providing clear instructions for efficient and safe task performance.
- Report potential risks or hazards to supervisors.
- Comply with Food Safety Allergen and Lot Control standards to meet BRC requirements.
- Sanitize surfaces and equipment in production areas.
- Report deviations related to food safety finished products raw materials or packaging.
- Identify and report noncompliance with customer specifications or legal and quality standards.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Education: No minimum requirements.
Experience/Expertise:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position particularly in production scheduling with proven organizational and leadership skills. Familiarity with factory processes is a plus.
- Strong communication skills including working in a multicultural environment and acting professionally at all times. Bilingual (Spanish) is required.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels internally and externally with a professional and responsive attitude.
- Reasoning ability to analyze and report production scheduling performance along with reading writing and recordkeeping skills.
- Experience in bakery production or similar work is preferred.
- Ability to learn and apply company standards including safety practices GMPs and employee handbook policies.
Working Conditions/Physical Factors:
- Exposure to temperatures above 100 F for extended periods with more extreme conditions in the summer.
- Loud working environment.
- Proximity to equipment generating extreme heat and moving parts.
- Ability to lift or exert force up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Standing for long periods with repetitive tasks including reaching walking lifting bending twisting and grasping.
- Flexibility to work any shift including holidays.
- Exposure to allergens such as flour dust wheat milk egg and soy.
