Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Business System Analyst to join our team. The incumbent will work with other Business Systems Analysts and create highquality Oracle applications and solutions per our customers requirements. Position Responsibilities

• Ability to create business process flow and functional specifications/user stories.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to debug/triage the system for certain behavior of the features and explain it to the users.
• Strong background in business either through work experience entrepreneurship or college.
• Analyzes required business process improvements and assists with required change management practices to facilitate the necessary business process changes to meet the future state designs.
• Assists with gap identification gap prioritization and gap solution design efforts after business requirements gathering and initial systems configuration and systems walkthrough with key business members.
• Writes all functional design documents that details any customizations/extensions that delivers the functional solution to solve the business requirement.
• Collaborates with technical resources to plan and develop system flows.
• Develops and implements comprehensive test plans to ensure that systems and programs are tested and debugged.
• Experience with the current Oracle EBS offerings and related products.
• Creates functional tests of systems configurations and extensions/customizations delivered from the IT development team.
• Writes or helps write solution design and critical control measures (i.e. roles and responsibilities of an ERP/Route Accounting System).
• Collaborates with change management to construct user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.
• Participating in code reviews and quality assurance procedures and providing technical expertise to business users of our application.

Position Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in Oracle development or software development roles.
• Proficiency in Oracle tools and technologies including SQL PL/SQL Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
• Minimum of 5 years of handson experience with Oracle EBS with expertise in modules such as GL AP AR FA CM.
• Knowledge of Java JavaScript and other programming languages.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Quick problemsolving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX).
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Role Details

• Top 3 Priorities (First 6 Months):
  Support projects in Oracle environments
  Finance systems support
  Ongoing system and ticketing support
  Role Focus: 50/50 split between functional (user stories requirements) and technical work (SQL PL/SQL debugging)
  
  Oracle Usage
  Financial and supplychain operations run through Oracle
  APEX used for API connections with thirdparty applications

Team Size: 2022 people globally
1 Oracle resource onsite (Columbus)
1 Oracle resource in Europe
Sr. Oracle Lead may retire soon offering future growth to Sr. Analyst

VP of Finance Finance and Accounting teams
Hiring manger
Application manager responsible for nonoracle apps
Thirdparty vendors (transitional responsibilities for this hire)

Technical Skills
Primary Tools: Oracle EBS Oracle APEX
APEX preferred for API connections and future system enhancements

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain Oracle modules (including customizations/extensions)
Start optimizing unused Oracle features
