Job Description
Position Name: Phlebotomist
Location: Maple Grove MN 55369
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Fulltime Travel Contract Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeksAccepting Travel Candidates only
Pay Rate: $1080 Weekly Gross pay (Nontaxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Laboratory
Shift available: Nights
Shift timings: 8 Hours; Nights 11.00pm 7.30 am
Schedule: 40 hours / week guaranteed 5 Shifts per week MonFri Every other weekend
Position Requirements:
- Current/recent Phlebotomist experience in a hospital/clinical setting: 1 years Required
- Experience drawing blood: 1 year Highly preferred
- Experience with all patient populations Required
- Epic Experience Required
Education License and Certification Requirements:
- NHA or ASCP Phlebotomy Certification Required
- BLS Certification from AHA Required
Job Description:
- Performs blood specimen collection.
- Performs responsibilities with consideration for customers who may include: infants children adolescents adults or geriatrics.
- Performs computer data entry/login of specimens and computer related duties as needed.
- Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
- The team member is accountable to demonstrate proficiency for the skills outlined in the appropriate position skills list.
- The team member is accountable to maintain skill proficiency including improvement where deemed necessary and upgrading any additional or new skills on the appropriate position skills list.
