Job Description
Position Name: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Cedar Rapids IA 52402
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Fulltime Travel Contract Temporary
Contract Length:13 weeksAccepting both local and travel Candidates
Pay Rate: Range $2520 to $2800 weekly Gross pay (Nontaxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: Ultrasound
Shifts available: Days
Shift timings: 8 Hours; Typically 8.00 am to 5.00 pm
Schedule: 40 hours / week 5 shifts per week MondayFriday Some weekend or oncall may be required (negotiable)
Position Requirements:
- Ultrasound/Sonographer experience: 2 years Required
- Contrasting experience Required
- Arterial/Vascular experience Required
- Experience with 1st 2nd 3rd trimester fetal anatomical baby heads spines/hips vascular including venous doppler and abdomen
- Previous Travel experience Preferred
Education License and Certification Requirements:
- Bachelor degree Highly preferred
- ARDMS Certification with AB OB/GYN RVT disciplines Required
- BLS Certifications from AHA Required
Job Description:
- Performs ultrasound procedures using heir technical expertise and independent judgment to provide highquality patient care and accurate diagnostics.
- Perform diagnostic and interventional ultrasound procedures Adhere to technical details in radiology procedures
