The Project Manager will lead the delivery of projects related to CCAPs strategic objectives designed to deliver superior technology solutions and services to the Client. This role provides direction and leadership to project teams; is responsible for project initiation and planning activities; monitoring project schedules progress and resources; communicating with project stakeholders management or other relevant parties; and project closure deliverables. This position works under general supervision; may assign duties and responsibilities to staff during coordination of project work; and reports to the Deputy Chief Information Officer.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies tools and best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of information technology solution tools for a variety of applications.
- Excellent knowledge of change management techniques and tools.
- Excellent knowledge of agile software development process and methodologies. Experience with Scrum is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to independently lead technical projects and teams.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate successfully with a variety of stakeholders including those with divergent perspectives.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt and respond to changing work situations and environments.
Education and Experience
- 1 3 years of project management experience leading information technology implementations.
- 3 years of experience in information technology or related field
- Experience with project management software (Asana MS Project Visio Smartsheet Microsoft Office Suite etc.)
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
- Experience leading directing mentoring and influencing teams.
Certificates Required:
- PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
