DevOPSCloud Engineer

NOTE: This position is currently listed as Onsite; however the Assignment under this request will provisionally be Hybrid working 7.25 hours per calendar day sometime between 8:005:00 PM (excluding lunch breaks) Monday to Friday inclusive unless otherwise identified. These conditions are subject to change as the OPS reflects on its current situation. During the duration of the assignment you will be under the discretion of the Hiring Managers requirements for the Project you are assigned to.

Description

• The VOR Master Service Agreement which expires on April 5 2026 leaves some Contracts with funding unassigned for fiscal 202526. If the current statement of work expires March 31 2026 the remaining funds can be used to exercise an option to extend the SOW beyond March 31 2026 based on business case approvals. Such extensions will be allowable only if the Master Service Agreement is extended beyond April 5 2026 and be upon the same terms conditions covenants contained in the SOW.

Scope:

• Creation of functional and technical specifications for systems development analyze requirements and help project team in solution technical design implementation and support.
• Work with the project team in completing all relevant and required documentation in alignment with OPS standards.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Deliverables:

• Creation of technical specifications for systems development
• Design implement and work with the project team in completing all relevant and required documentation in alignment with OPS standards
• Undertake special assignments/subprojects as assigned
• Conduct assess evaluate and document stakeholder interests and business needs
• Create and validate business scenarios and use cases
• Produce visual depiction of use cases and process flows; ensure alignment with the program area and associated business architecture as well as traceability to solution logical and physical architectures
• Create review provide input and support of Enterprise Architecture artifacts for all checkpoints as required
• Create system and user interface design and modifications (data & screen) as required
• Review all test scenarios to ensure the requirements are met; establish traceability matrix to monitor output
• Ensure alignment and adherence to Ministry of Government Services processes and standards
• Support the testing team during system and UAT testing Participate in Knowledge transfer

Skills and Knowledge:

• Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a cloud environment to ensure solutions are available
• Outlining problems opportunities and solutions for Azure cloud products (Data Factory Databricks DevOPS GIT etc.)
• Create test and implement safeguards to maintain data integrity and protect against unauthorized access
