Job Description
Position : Senior Water System Design
Job location : Mumbai
Salary : 15 LPA
Key Responsibilities:
Work in the Water systems / treatment engineering team for the projects independently and shall carry out design verification and coordination project team / client.
What are the main responsibilities for this individual (i.e. reasons we need this person)
Responsible for the quality of document delivery compliance to in house processes and additionally be able to guide and mentor small teams of young engineers to achieve the project delivery schedule & quality
- Water treatment and SWRO technologies
- Water and Mass Balance Diagrams
- Cooling water systems and boiler feed water chemistry
- PFD and PID for plant water systems and water treatment
- Waste water Treatment
- Pumping systems and hydraulics
Key Skills Required:
- Preparing and review of feasibility reports detailed project reports concept notes design basis reports for different systems like water and waste water treatment demineralization plant sea water/brackish water desalination plants zero liquid discharge plants sewage treatment boiler/process water treatment cooling water systems and utility water systems like potable service and waste water system etc .
- Conceptual design basic designs and detailed engineering deliverables
- Aware of the environmental regulations and treatment schemes required for limiting different constituents in waste water discharge
- Shall be able to do basic process design of the plants mentioned including technology selection techno economic comparisons
- Shall be experienced in detail engineering related to all water and waste water equipment 7. Preparation of design calculations procurement specification technical bid evaluation vendor drawing review and vendor coordination
- Shall coordinate & provide design water analysis ionic balancing line sizing pressure drop calculation pump/equipment sizing & hydraulics chemical consumption calculation etc . Software tool based working knowledge for the mentioned tasks is preferred.
- Preparation of layouts for and PFD / PIDs
- Knowledge of HAZOP
- Sound exposure to Codal regulations ( national and International)
- Willing to travel and possess quick learning skills positive attitude good leadership qualities apart from technical skills.
