Plans and implements all aspects of the Companys safety program to ensure compliance with OSHA standards & principles and the attainment of Company objectives; will work with employees and leadership to ensure a safe healthy and accidentfree work environment; assesses develops and implements all safety policies and procedures to ensure that regulatory compliance and Company protocols are met; actively responsible for increasing employee involvement in safety initiatives. Including supporting and leading safety committees accident investigations safety audits etc.; available aroundtheclock to respond if necessary to emergencies that may occur at the facility; Bachelors Degree in Industrial Hygiene or Safety Management preferred. A relevant degree and commensurate experience will be considered. Minimum 5 years of significant safety experience in a large industrial safety setting (manufacturing operation) requested. Paper industry experience preferred. 500/501 OSHA First Aid /CPR Certified Safety Professional (CSP) also preferred. Must be expert level user of Microsoft Office specifically Excel PowerPoint Word and Outlook. 90K100K
