Job Description
Job Title: Data warehouse programming specialist(US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain data warehouse architecture to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Create and manage ETL pipelines to extract transform and load data from various sources.
- Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality accuracy and consistency through validation and testing processes.
- Monitor troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines and systems.
- Document technical designs processes and data flow diagrams.
- Implement and enforce data governance and security standards.
- Stay updated with the latest data warehouse technologies and trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Science Information Systems or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Experience in data warehouse design development and maintenance.
- Proficiency in SQL and database systems such as Oracle SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
- Handson experience with ETL tools (e.g. Informatica Talend SSIS) and data integration.
- Knowledge of data modeling techniques (e.g. star schema snowflake schema) and best practices.
- Experience with cloudbased data warehousing solutions (e.g. Snowflake AWS Redshift Google BigQuery).
- Experience in programming languages such as Python R or Java for data manipulation.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
