Job Title: IT/OT Project Manager (DeltaV Infrastructure Industry 4.0)
Job Location: Saint Louis MO
Job Type: Contract
Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned IT/OT Project Manager with a strong background in managing complex infrastructure projects particularly within data center environments and extensive experience in virtualization DeltaV and smart manufacturing concepts. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Industry 4.0 technologies Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). This senior role requires a proactive leader adept at navigating the convergence of IT and OT systems while driving project success through effective management and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning execution and delivery of major IT/OT projects focusing on data center infrastructure virtualization and DeltaV systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders technical teams and external vendors ensuring seamless communication and project alignment.
- Define project scope objectives and deliverables in collaboration with business leaders and technical experts.
- Oversee the design and implementation of IT/OT solutions ensuring robust integration and adherence to smart manufacturing principles.
- Drive the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies optimizing processes through the implementation of LIMS MES and other digital transformation tools.
- Coordinate with engineering and IT teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of infrastructure components and systems.
- Ensure the implementation of cybersecurity best practices with a focus on IT/OT segregation and compliance with industry standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to IT/OT convergence cybersecurity and project delivery.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership providing regular updates on project progress risks and strategic opportunities.
- Partner with crossfunctional teams including IT OT operations and external vendors to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
- Develop and implement risk management plans to address potential challenges in project delivery.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in IT/OT cybersecurity and smart manufacturing to inform project strategies.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g. PMP CISSP TOGAF) are highly desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 710 years of experience in IT/OT project management with a successful track record of delivering major infrastructure projects.
- Extensive experience in virtualization DeltaV systems and the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Proven expertise in managing projects involving LIMS MES and other smart manufacturing solutions.
- Strong background in cybersecurity frameworks and strategies within enterprise environments.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical life sciences or chemical manufacturing industries is highly advantageous.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data center technologies server infrastructure and virtualization platforms.
- Knowledge of DeltaV systems networking and IT/OT integration strategies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards (e.g. NIST ISO 27001) and technologies such as firewalls intrusion detection and SIEM.
- Strong understanding of operational technology (OT) systems and protocols including SCADA and ICS.
