Location: Sapulpa OK 74066
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
Shift: Monday Friday 6:00 AM 4:30 PM (with occasional Saturdays)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Grit Blaster to join our team in Sapulpa Oklahoma. This temptohire position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while contributing to highquality blasting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with and around overhead cranes forklifts trucks power equipment automated equipment and other hazardous processes in a SAFETY SENSITIVE environment.
• Blast structures and equipment according to job requirements.
• Maintain productivity levels that meet the companys standards.
• Ensure workmanship consistently meets quality standards.
• Follow all established safety procedures and maintain required records.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Operate overhead cranes and power tools proficiently.
• Inspect equipment at the start and end of each shift to ensure it is in good working order.
• Immediately report any equipment or product defects to the Supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of blasting experience.
• Technical Knowledge:
  • Understanding of proper air and sand mixtures to achieve maximum abrasive efficiency.
  • Proficiency with blast equipment including air hoods filter cartridges and remote Deadman switches.
• Teamwork: Strong desire to perform professionally as a team member and leader.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to uphold quality and safety standards while completing projects efficiently.
