Job Description
- Engage in oneonone work with students to effect behavior changes.
- Assess student needs and implement interventions to redirect behavior.
- Execute behavioral programs aimed at fostering positive and appropriate changes.
- Evaluate and manage crisis situations using conflict resolution and crisis management techniques.
- Reinforce positive behaviors and redirect negative behaviors while providing values clarification regarding rules expectations and consequences.
- Adhere to treatment plan goals and interventions utilizing sound judgment and seeking appropriate consultation when necessary.
- Collaborate with family members and treatment team to deliver effective treatment without disruption to the environment or other individuals.
Requirements
- Current RBT certification in the state of Florida.
- Must possess a Paraprofessional Certification in the state of Florida.
- Minimum requirement of a High School Diploma; preference is given to candidates with some college course work.
