Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed assessments to evaluate clients functional physical and sensorymotor abilities.
- Design and execute personalized therapy plans tailored to clients individual needs and objectives.
- Deliver therapy sessions aimed at enhancing motor skills sensory integration selfcare abilities and daily living activities.
- Partner with families caregivers educators and multidisciplinary teams to foster client growth and achievement.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of assessments treatment plans progress notes and required reports in line with professional standards.
- Guide clients and families by providing practical strategies and recommending adaptive tools to promote independence across various settings.
- Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings contributing to the creation of goals and treatment plans.
- Pursue ongoing professional development to stay informed about the latest techniques and innovations in occupational therapy.
Requirements
Must be available to provide inperson services.
Possess a Master s degree in Occupational Therapy.
Hold a valid Occupational Therapy license in Illinois.
