What you will be doing:
- Apply and maintain a solid understanding of general accounting principles.
- Execute daytoday accounting tasks including recording financial transactions maintaining general ledgers and reconciling accounts.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of business accounting practices.
- Handle all aspects of business financial management including accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll processing.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements providing insights and recommendations to management for decisionmaking.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to develop and monitor budgets.
- Assist in forecasting financial trends and providing insights into potential financial risks and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards regulations and company policies.
- Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
- Generate and distribute regular financial reports to management highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.
- Present financial information in a clear and concise manner to facilitate decisionmaking.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience you will need:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent qualification is highly desirable but not required.
- Proven experience in general accounting and business accounting.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
- Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
